On March 5, 2025, Mr. Vitai Ratanakorn, President rcs data europe of the Government Savings Bank and Chairman of the State Financial Institutions Association, chaired the 1/2025 State Financial Institutions Association Board Meeting and the 2025 Annual General Meeting, together with senior executives from state financial institutions, representatives from the Fiscal Policy Office (FPO) and the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO), with the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) hosting the meeting.

The meeting unanimously voted to elect Mr. Witai Rattanakorn, Director of the Government Savings Bank, to serve as Chairman of the State Financial Institutions Association for another term for 2 years (2025 - 2027) before the end of the term on 1 May 2025.


With a resolution to elect Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, Manager of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, and Mr. Kamolpop Virapala, Managing Director of the Government Housing Bank, as Vice Chairman of the Association, No. 1 and No. 2, to jointly continue the strategy of the Government Financial Institutions Association in promoting, supporting and developing the country, as well as being a mechanism to drive the country's economic recovery in accordance with government policy.

In addition, the meeting acknowledged the Association's performance in 2024, including stimulating the economy and driving national development, resolving debt problems of debtors sustainably by implementing the debt resolution project for teachers and educational personnel in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, assisting debtors affected by disasters, and participating in the "You Fight, We Help" project to assist retail debtors and SMEs, including supporting the use of data and digital systems to provide financial services, cooperating with the private sector, and developing and upgrading the Association's operations, etc.
